Why another blog? There are zillions of blogs!
Because people explain things differently. It may be the same question, the same solution but a different path to get there. That’s what IT makes such a cool thing. There are a million ways to accomplish tasks.
I like automation, I like well built and reliable solutions. Therefore I like to share my knowledge because other people may benefit and build better solutions as well. It’s a pity that so much people suffer from the complexity of IT. IT should simplify things, should help you to avoid doing the same things over and over again. I’m not perfect, my solutions may be improved. I’m still learning, as well. I will always be. That’s why I love to read other blogs.
Blogs are a great way to show off. IT is my business, why not use IT to show what I’m good at? These days it’s easy to use a CMS, compared to the millennium years, when I was scripting PHP, MySQL and XHTML to build my own CMS. Today I can focus on the content and let the web programmers do their work. A blog may turn into a resumé and help you find new engagements. Kinda cool, right?
